The ideas from this review that ring the bell for me are:
2. I'm willing to recognize the lack of validity in my judgements, because I want to see. My judgements have hurt me, and I do not want to see according to them.
3. How could I understand what I see when I have judged it amiss. What I see is the projection of my own errors of thought.
5. I'm never upset for the reason I think. I'm never upset for the reason I think because I'm constantly trying to justify my thoughts.
"In mystical traditions, it is one's own readiness that makes experience exoteric or esoteric. The secret is not what you are being told. The secret is what you are able to hear." ~Ram Dass.
One day I will hear.
