"The power of our joint motivation is beyond belief, but not beyond accomplishment. What we can accomplish together has no limits." (A Course in Miracles)
In Lesson 165, Jesus teaches: "ask with desire" and he is asking aus to really mean this (later in the book): " To say these words [I want the peace of God] is nothing. But to mean these words is everything." (W-185).
Words are just symbols if they are not spoken from one's heart.
I come in doubt. I do not yet believe Your promises. My own uncertainty Seems to be more apparent than my faith In what you have ordained your Son must be, And how Your memory returns to him. My steps are hesitant, my trust is weak, My sense of purpose faters. I forget My goal beacuse of images I seek, And wander in illusions. Yet the end Of wandering is certain in Your Mind; What you would have me seek, that I will find."

I come in doubt. I do not yet believe
Your promises. My own uncertainty
Seems to be more apparent than my faith
In what you have ordained your Son must be,
And how Your memory returns to him.
My steps are hesitant, my trust is weak,
My sense of purpose faters. I forget
My goal beacuse of images I seek,
And wander in illusions. Yet the end
Of wandering is certain in Your Mind;
What you would have me seek, that I will find."
Oops. The comment above is a quote from "The Gifts of God" by Helen (p.32).
If I deny Him, I deny myself. As I am entrusted with His gifts, I trust Him.
One of my daily prayers:
"Work with me and through me. Use me. Use my voice. Put me where You need me today. Those who need to hear your message, let them come and hear."
