Let me be still and listen to the truth.
If you will lay aside the ego's voice, not accept its petty gifts that you really do not want, listen with an open mind, you will hear the mighty Voice of truth, quiet in power, strong in stillness, and completely certain in Its messages.
Hear one Voice today.
Hear Him today, and listen to the Word which lifts the veil that lies upon the earth, and wakes all those who sleep and cannot see. God calls to them through you. He needs your voice to speak to them, for who could reach God's Son except his Father calling through your Self?
Be ready for salvation. It is here, and will today be given unto you.
I will be still and listen to the truth.
What does it mean to give and to receive?
Let me be still and listen to the truth.
I am the messenger of God today.
My voice is His, to give what I receive.

When you are still an instant when the world receds from you, when valueless ideas cease to have value in your restless mind, then you hear his voice. ~ ACIM
L 106: “ … do not wait to reach Him longer. Hear one Voice today.”
Nothing is hurt by our delay, but within the dream we cause ourselves increased pain when we wait. In these lessons and the text, Jesus says :” You don’t have to do this anymore, but I await your choice”:
“ I will never forsake you any more than God will, but I must wait as long as you choose to forsake yourself. Because I wait in LOVE and not in impatience, you will surely ask me truly. I will come in response to a single unequivocal call. “
L 106: “Hear and be silent. He would speak to you. He comes with miracles and thousand times as happy and as wonderful as those you ever dreamed or wished for in your dreams. “
What is a miracle? The course defines miracle as correction of the ego’s thought system.
“ A miracle is a correction. It does not create nor really change at all. It undoes error, but does not attempt to go beyond perception, exceed the function of forgiveness. Thus it stays within time’s limits. Yet it paves the way for the return of timelessness and love’s awakening, for fear must slip away under the gentle remedy it brings (W-pII.13)
Miracles reflect our experience of God’s love within the dream when we abandon ego’s gifts of “secret sins and hidden hates “ and accept Heaven’s gifts of love and light.
“ This world is full of miracles. They stand in shining silence next to every dream of pain and suffering, of sin and guilt.” (T-28.II. 12)
